Let me ask you something: if you lose your job tomorrow (whether you’re CEO, doctor, dentist or plumber) and you could not you find another service for 8 weeks. Do you have enough money to survive during this period? Yes or no! If your answer is ,, yes ” … but if we are talking 16 weeks, 52 weeks …? If your answer is ,, no ”… guess what … you have to earn more money right now! It is not complicated engineering … it is reality. And according to statistics it is the reality for the vast majority of the population in North America.
Because if you run out of money in an economy in stagnation, will suffer. Your family will suffer, your kids will suffer. But … you good service, right? You are not affected by the recession, right? WRONG! No matter who you are or what you do … in a weak economy rules change. Let’s be realistic, if you work for someone. If you have a job … How can you be sure of what you have? Just think, if they find someone faster than you can pay you less than you pay you … You’re wasting your service immediately! So … what are the options?
Option number one … find yourself a second job. Sure … why not. But you likely do not earn enough to pay your additional charges. Additional costs for children or extra transport costs. And that’s where you find a second job.
Option number 2 … stand aside and do nothing. Do you have a savings account for retirement. Ok, you can relax and count on this account. This account was a good plan, but have you checked lately? Remember, that money, keep your money … not a magic box, where you can sprinkle magic dust by 8%. I’m in a stock exchange, market risk and guess what? When the stock market falls, decreasing your money with it.
Option number three … start your own business. Wonderful! Of course, first of all you should at least rent an office. You have to buy a phone system to sign contracts, get your certificate in accounting, watch correspondence, inventory, storage, and … oh yes, employees. Sounds fun, right ?! And since 95% of small businesses out of the market in the first year … Good luck! Or of course, you can buy a franchise, a system that was proven to work, marketing tools, training, good idea … If you 100,000 $ 1,000,000 cash. You could become a freelancer or an independent constructor. Wonderful! If you have skills in marketing and patience to be a salesperson, accountant and manager in conclusion, starting a business from scratch is hard work, difficult and risky but owning your own business is the only way to take control only way you can control your time, income, quality of life.
Those people are at a golf course at 11am on a Thursday, the men fishing with their children at 3 o’clock in the afternoon on a Thursday, the men driving cars Mercedes and Porche, chances are that those people have their own business and the good news is that you can!
Look, America was founded in the spirit of freedom but was built by small business. Working for someone else, corporation or government is a relatively new phenomenon. Owning your own business, be your own boss, this is the American dream. So what are the options for the rest of us? What type of business can the average person get involved with little or no capital investment? With little or no expertise in business? Part time or full time business that gives you the chance to win real money no matter what that means to you. And if it means $ 1,000 extra per month extra $ 1000 a week or even a 6-digit amount ?! Let’s face it, money changes everything. Change the car you drive, the holidays go, the school where your children go. And when you’re the boss, your life changes radically, you decide when you want to pay by installments, you decide when you work, what time you wake up, how you dress, you decide, not them! In conclusion, you can succeed! You can take control of your life, learn more about this business. A business that holds you can start part time, no employees, no headaches.
Let’s face it, you can live under the threat can control the economy or economy is your choice … What is your plan B? You may not have as much time as you think, but whatever you do, do something! Government will not save you! Your boss will not save you! Up to you!

” ... Immediately after having finished his studies at the
university that he had chosen from the beginning of his adolescence (Columbia
University Graduate School of Journalism), James Hoover, valedictorian of 2009,
had the chance to choose from among three publications that offered him an
unexpected salary for a debutant.
Brought up in Canada, in the harsher climate of Whitehorse, a climate that he could not get accustomed to at all, James chose to work in Denver, the city with 300 sunny days a year, for a magazine specializing in scientific themes.
His parents died when he was 8 years old in a terrible car crash. Immediately after the sorrowful event, he was taken charge of by his aunt, a rather rigid woman, but also endowed with a formidable determination. It is due to this “iron” woman that James had the possibility to study at a university that offers scholarships of about 4 million dollars a year to the students that promise an outstanding career in journalism.
James was one of these deserving students. Inheriting from his father some characteristics of the Inuit-Eskimos (only the color of his hair he got from his mother, a real New-Yorker), a high candor and the determination to overcome the difficult life, the young Hoover was ready to face his destiny.
He married a woman two years younger than him, not very beautiful, but capable of a lot of gentleness and comprehension, which was exactly what James had desired.
Their honeymoon had lasted only one week, because his new wife was just caught in the middle of some professional obligations that required her presence in the office.
During his first holiday after 8 months of work, James would spend his days waiting for his chosen lady to come home in the evening, hoping that one day they will succeed in leaving at least for a short cruise.
On one of these resting days, after he had drank his hot coffee and when he started to wake up, James Hoover chose to enjoy the sight that he liked the most, as he would do when he wanted the time to pass quicker. In fact, he adored to look, from the window of his apartment located on the western side of Denver city, the sunrays that veiled the collection of buildings that stretched in front of his eyes.
From unmemorable times, he would feel a strange satisfaction to see how the day light touches the walls of the buildings and the apartment blocks, regardless of their structure in glass, steel or brick. It was a pleasure that he could not explain.
And, sometimes, he was struck by a weird sensation. He started to think about the most recent moment when he was overwhelmed by a confusing fear noticing that the wall next to him started to wave…
The mobile phone on the little table next to the bedroom started to ring. It was Betty, James’s wife. With a slight regret for having to leave the image he was just savoring, James answered the phone:
“Yes, dear. How are you? Have you reached the company?”
Betty, a woman with short dark hair, was talking on the phone while she was driving her beautiful BMW Cabrio series 1, but caught in a not so nice traffic jam. In the ocean of claxons and the revving of engines, she was striving to better hear the voice of her husband.
“James, the traffic is awful, as usual. You have forgotten how it is since you took your holiday leave… I am nearly there. When I was leaving the house and you were sleeping, I happened to see a message from your boss on your phone. Have you seen what he has written to you?”
“Hold on, because I was still enjoying the view… At least on my leisure days I should forget about work and bosses. Anyway, tell me what was written in the message.”
“He lets you know that, starting tomorrow, your holiday is interrupted. He didn’t say for how long. Hasn’t he called you? It is strange that he only left a message. So, you ought to be in the office tomorrow. That’s all. I am nearly at work. Let’s talk this evening, shall we?”
“Of course my dear. I will think about you. And about what the boss wants to tell me tomorrow. I am looking forward to the dinner I promised to you yesterday. Kiss you and take care!”
James hung up and then dialed Anthony’s number, the only close friend that he could make in this city. While he was waiting for him to answer, James sat on the corner sofa in the living room.
“Anthony, it’s me. I’m sorry but the tennis match we planned for tomorrow is no longer possible. I do not know what my boss wants from me. But I will have to be in the office first thing in the morning.”
“I thought so,” grumbled Anthony. “Now I am at the university, my students have decided to meet me on the campus together with a few other teachers. They want to discuss more: the facultative insurances, the students’ celebration party from the next week and other aspects. Anyway, you have enough to do. The magazine, your wife…”
“Yes, but at least the magazine could have waited another day or two. I hope it is not something very important. Come on, sort everything out and then we can get to our business. I will call you when I am ready. I am hanging up now.”
“Good, now let’s focus on the dinner tonight”, said James. He rose up and stopped a little in front of the mirror in the hall in order to arrange with his hand his chestnut brown hair that he had forgotten to fix since he woke up.
Then he entered the kitchen.
He looked at the cook book that he had left open the day before on the metallic table next to the oven and quickly went to the fridge, wherefrom he got out a pack of beef, a tin of oysters and few turnips.
“Tonight it will be the first occasion for me to demonstrate my cooking skills to Betty”, said James proudly. ...”
